2005 Coro Mendocino

This Coro Mendocino ranked in the top five at the blind tasting! Rhône varietals, most notably Syrah, are the heritage of McDowell Valley with vineyards dating back to the turn of the century. Our Coro was created using the intense fruit and character from old vine McDowell estate grown Syrah and Zinfandel from the B-X ranch on the Talmage Bench.  Operated by Jamie Williamson this sixty year old bench land produces some of the areas finest Zinfandel. The briary, jammy Zinfandel fruit complements the complex, elegant old vine subtleties and the symphony of the blend we hope will please palates for years to come.
